Culture is a mighty tool in your business arsenal. When done right it’s like passive income because it makes (and saves) you money when you’re not even looking. But it can only ever be truly effective when it comes from a place of authentic leadership. An organization’s culture will always be an expression of the leaders internal world. It will always be a manifestation of their relationship to the many parts within themselves. When cultural interventions fails (and they often do) it’s usually the result of a leader who says “do as I say, not as I do.” Leveraging the power of culture can only ever take place when the leader starts with their own internal world.
