The Transformational Relationship
A Two Session Intensive
Session One (Teaching) : Saturday, August 3rd, 9am-11am PST
Session Two (Q&A) : Saturday, August 17th, 9am – 10am PST
“All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.”
― Leo Tolstoy , Anna Karenina
What the genius, Tolstoy, understood long before the field of psychology was even created, was that like forging a sword, building a home, or growing a garden, developing a healthy relationship is a skill like any other, that requires specific behaviors, that follow precise principles, that are non-negotiable.
On Saturday August 3rd, from 9am to 11am, I’ll be offering a cutting edge training on what is arguably the most important currency of our life – healthy relationships, and how to best develop and sustain them. There is no other place I have learned more about myself, healed more of my wounding, and grown more as a person, than in my own intimate relationships, and I’d like to share those insights with you in a single, recorded, jam packed session that will cover everything we will be (hopefully) teaching our children a hundred years from now.
Above all, we will be focusing on the main transformational part of the relationship, which is about trauma excavation, healing and empowerment, via yes, you guessed it, CONFLICT.
Other items we will cover include:
First contact. How to see the macro in the micro and predict what is coming in a friend, collaborator or potential significant other. How to identify the correct polarity of your ‘perfect’ partner.
The Three A’s, and what every conflict needs to achieve resolution. (Fail in this and you will consistently descend into chaos. Pro Tip: It’s an energy thing.)
How to hold accountability in a way that endears rather than offends. (The ultimate guide for door mats and bullies.)
The three main trends in culture today. (Yes, you’re in one of them.) For a primer on what is to come, check out my recent three part podcast series on The Transformational Relationship, based on my nearly twenty years in clinical practice, over twenty years with my significant other, and the oldest symbolic story we have on the subject – the Egyptian Myth of Queen Isis and King Osiris.
When you triangulate all three of those together, everything becomes clear as day.
I will also be providing you with several templates, principles and practices that I hope you will test drive for a couple of weeks, and return for the session two Q&A with questions, comments, adjustments, and an overall tune up.
So please bring your every challenge and support will be provided!
Peace in.
